Character Information
Summary
A schollar from a hardpressed family. All was well until their latent Dracomorphism manifested, and their life was torn from them. They did what they could in order to survive, now they need money to return to the life they had all those years ago. Was it all a dream?

Background
Reed, also known as Mariashtolas Wegney Iona Nearl III, was a scholar from a poor family. She lived a normal life with the hardships faced by those who lived in squalor. Her parents worked hard so that the brightest child from among their household might restore the Nearl family name to its former glory. However, the sins of their fathers would come to light when Reed's latent Dracomorphism took root in a more public setting. She attempted to keep it a secret, but word spread around her college what was happening. In order to save her family, she ran away and adopted a life of crime. However, none would be spared the ire of being a drake, and she soon found herself utterly alone.

Reed always seemed to have an innate spark of something deep inside, so her family did their best to support and nurture that growth. It later turned out to be magical prowess in the form of being an adept, which Reed honed through practice and schooling.

Being the most promising of her family, Reed was the only of her litter sent to College. Through salt and sweat Reed was able to gather enough funds, schollarships, and student debts to attend Charles University in Prague. Through her time there, she managed to learn and solidify her adept powers, including arcana studies in general.
