Overview

For an aspiring young technomancer, the Puyallup Barrens aren't exactly a land of opportunity. The constant ash storms and corporate throttling make for a matrix connection that works a quarter of the time, and the crippling poverty of Hell's Kitchen means that there's barley even anything to hack. So what's an up-and-coming script kiddie like Tasha Coronado to do? Simple: thread a bunch of wires through her nerves and join up with a toxic wiz gang! With an argument of "resonance is basically magic" (and a swift punch to the jaw for anyone who disagreed), Tasha worked her way up to a lieutenant position in the Nuclear Warlocks of Salvation. After taking the name "Zombie Process" to better fit with the gang's theme, her squad was given a mission to drive the uppity Hellraisers out of Puyallup. Although her initial assault on the Iceberg failed she's determined to complete the job, paving the way for her to take over the Warlocks and finally change those frag ugly colors.

Personality

Tasha is loud, brash, and incredibly abrasive. The only thing she respects is strength, whether in meatspace or matrix. The people she doesn't consider strong are treated with open derision, and the people who she does are constantly challenged to prove their worth. No insult to her ability will ever be allowed to slide. That being said she's surprisingly decent to the people she respects, even if they're enemies. Sure she'll fight dirty, but she'll help pick them up if they're still alive when the battle's done. Or at least throw a trauma patch on them. If they earned it.

Aspects Description

Aspect Description
You're the best! Around! Tasha needs to be the strongest, and won't tolerate anyone who brings that into question. If a character with this contact questions their ability to do something, or even just does it well themselves, Tasha will challenge them to a duel to prove her superiority. The duel will be a test of whatever skill was called into question and doesn't need to involve direct combat (although it usually does). If a character refuses this duel, Tasha will call them a coward and drop by 1 loyalty.
Ganger Connections Tasha is nothing if not ambitious, and makes it a point to know who she'll need to challenge in the future. She gains +2 to networking checks involving high ranking gangers in Puyallup.
Hacker Feuds It isn't just meatspace where Tasha wants to be the strongest. If there's a hacker of note around the metroplex, there're pretty good odds that Tasha's challenged them to a cyberduel. She gains +2 to networking checks involving shadow hackers and technomancers.
The Boring Stuff Tasha hasn't survived this long by being a complete idiot. She knows information is half the battle, and that studying your opponent is the way to really hit them where it hurts. She gains +2 to active checks involving matrix legwork.
Equal Opportunity Tasha's a simple woman. If you're strong, you're cool. If you aren't, well... you know the rest. Provided that you prove your strength, penalties from notoriety will not apply to this character's checks. Be warned though, as your fearsome reputation will make her infinitely more likely to challenge you.
Will Actually Just Kill You The constant duels are fun and all, but when it's life or death the gloves come off. +2 to any checks made to beat the absolute tar out of people, either in meatspace or on the matrix.
