While the tasks may seem simple on the surface most runner teams will find themselves without friends or a safe place to sleep in this chaotic urban pit of despair, and even if they did sleep, would they want to let their guard down for that long to let the Yama Kings in? An uneasy truce has settled amongst the minor triad factions within the Kowloon Walled City and those without, this truce is about to be shattered in a very messy and public fashion. The leaders of the larger triads and their corporate masters would like this dealt with discreetly and to not have their hand seen doing so. But, perhaps there are darker forces pulling the strings behind the whole affair. Is this a ruse by another Megacorp to damage it's rivals? Or are the mysterious Yama Kings involved?
