Summary
David Robinson is a former Firewatch member and specializes in the use of Assault Canons. Even though the events of his life have led to a pause in his duties to Ares, he is still 100% loyal to the non-buged part of the corporation. But somehow you have to earn a living and with his experience, life as a runner is the way to go for now.
Goals
- Find out what he can do to put an end to the bug invasion in Ares.
- Protect his family in Ares from the bugs and establish a good bond with them.
- No other member of the Firewatch shall fall in his presence.
Background
David grows up in an extended family within the corporation. He has 3 older sisters (Isabella, Luna, Ella), an older brother (Michael) and a younger brother (Christopher). His parents (Maya and Frank), meanwhile, enjoy the generous pensions of long-serving Ares employees while he and his siblings continue to represent the family within the corporation. Life could be all too good if it weren't for the constant threat of the bugs. Driven by this threat, David has done everything he can to be a member of the Ares Firewatch. A dream that came true. A dream that became a nightmare. David was sent into seven ambushes set by bugs to kill or take over him and his chambermates (which is ultimately the same thing). The final attempt, in which David's comrades were overpowered and he alone saved both his comrades and Rachel Rosen from a desperate situation, went viral not only within Ares due to some leaks in the marketing department and earned him a positive reputation. But it also drew an even bigger target on his back and that of his siblings. To avert the danger primarily from his siblings, he asked for time off from serving his beloved corporation. A timeout that was granted to him by Rachel Rosen. A time out that he must pay for in some form.
