Background

There's people who live in squalor, dreaming of becoming a hero in the world. There's people who live in luxury, looking only after their own well-being. Then there's people who forsake the world.

Stacy doesn't have it all, but she comes close. Good looks, a silver tongue and the ability to wrap almost anyone around her finger. She revels in it, subjugating the so-called free will of people with a couple of well placed words. To her, it's evidence that reality has long since become nothing more than a joke and a plaything for people to fool around with. She's seen spirits and grandiose magic already and found it wanting. What is magic, even, but a manifestation of humanity's dreams? It's been known for thousands of years that the dreams of mankind are the darkest things in existence. Why would it be surprising that the world is as it is now when reality bends to such decrepit wants?

Stacy sees that.

She doesn't see any way out for humanity. They've driven themselves into a corner, having finally unlocked the ability to create heaven and deciding to turn it into hell instead. She lives in the dystopian future, accepting it for what it is and finding satisfaction where-ever she can find it. Society is still standing, so certain rules must be obeyed. She's not a lunatic. She won't butcher people and wear their faces. She won't go shooting up corporate housings. To commit violence is to lower yourself to the level of animals -- Stacy wants to revel in the truth of people's nature, the apex of their evolution: the act of a social animal. Words and language are humanity's greatest gift and she immerses herself in their power, refusing the very concept of physical altercations to focus on the most human thing of all. Betrayals, manipulations, gaslighting, guilt tripping, extortion and coercion. These are but a few of the things she excels at.

Now, with shadow work, she has the perfect outlet to expand her sphere of influence. To make connections, to know all the people in high places and to show off how much better she is at being human than everyone else.

Significant Things for Narrative

• Ego (Alpha Junkie, Attention-Seeking, Psionic Tradition) - Stacy believes she's the best and her power stems from her own mind's all-encompassing power. This might end up being a problem down the line.
• Sociopath (Antipathy, Impassive) - Stacy's seen the truth of what people are like and has no empathy left for them. All she sees are victims of a cruel world and nothing she does is worse than the fact that they were born in the first place.
• "Law-Abiding Citizen" (Pacifist II, Pacifist Adept) - Despite her twisted nature, Stacy's mindful not to lower herself to something as base as senseless violence. She won't kill people and she won't even knock them out regardless of circumstances. People who resolve everything with their fists disgust her and she often sees them as animals, not people.
