All Hallows in The Haven
Metaplot Summary
The doors to the Alabaster Maiden open precisely atop the eleventh hour as per the invitations sent exclusively to known members of the Haven. The Matrix e-vites hit open channels, a call to gather for one night only: Mischief Night, the eve of Halloween. The dress code is ‘Dark Elements’, but there is no further explanation given. It is costume-only, and the bouncers enforce this at the door. A line begins to wrap around the building, curious mundanes typically denied entry jockeying with some of the usual Awakened set who are barred entry tonight. The queue winds around the building, but only a very select list is given access. Tonight, the Alabaster Maiden under special permission from owner Janette Degroot will be holding the annual Hallowing. Typically, this has been a small affair, just a few new runners to the Haven around the table of a local café or restaurant table enjoying a bowl of noodles or a cuppa. But not tonight. This year’s freshman Seattle runner tapped with hosting has decided to pull out all the stops and put this sporadic annual tradition on the map.
Those runners who attend will have the option to participate in the costume contest judged by midnight on Halloween in the Alabaster Maiden in Seattle. Those who accept the invitation will also be given the option to go on runs to retrieve items in a sort of seasonal scavenger hunt that ideally focuses on integrating or "hallowing" new runners into the Haven with all runner teams racing to be the first to collect and return the three designated items before midnight 24 hours later on October 31st.
Run Requirements
- All runner teams competing must have at least one new player and/or character (< 3 runs with the Haven) to qualify for the final prize
- Only one run failure is allowed, which is the only time any of the three objects can be obtained from the Scatterbrains at Stuck's Carnival
- 5 RVP suggestion for Milk runs, and Milk/Low recommended to maximize player participation
- Runs above Milk/Low count only if your newbie(s) survive
- If somehow, miraculously, two teams have identical winning timestamps, the team with the greater number of new characters/players will win
- First team to have all three successful runs' AAR submitted and tagged to the Metaplot will win 6000¥
- Costume Contest posts are not a run requirement, but any entries are due by October 31, 2025, in the appropriate Discord thread. Rewards are 5k/2.5k/1k, respectively, for 1st-3rd place

Chulos
Location and specific Chulos contact holding object are at GM discretion, recommend Underworld 93 (aka Underground 93).

Books must be obtained from this group.
Involved Faction II
Halloweeners
Location and specific Halloweener contact holding object are at GM discretion, recommend the Redmond Barrens.
Goal
Bells must be obtained from this group.
Involved Faction III
Spectres
Location and specific Spectre contact holding object are at GM discretion, recommend Downtown Seattle or Renton.
Goal
Candles must be obtained from this group.
Involved Faction IV (Second Chance)
Scatterbrains
Specific Scatterbrains contact holding object is at GM discretion, but location must be Stuck's Carnival in Auburn.
Goal
Teams who fail a mission may have one chance to recover any of the three items from the group of Scatterbrains kicking around The Carnival in Auburn. This is a second-chance option and may only be used once. Two failed missions disqualify participants.
