A simple man with a revolver, seeking to live a relatively free life. And he'll kill if he needs to to keep it that way.

Background
John's father was part of the original group which started the gang known as "Los Desperados del Diablo" back in 2059. Three years later came John, "born without a mama" he was told. Truth is a bit muddier than that, but he never bothered to ask his pa more. Never got the chance to either. At the age of seven, during a shootout with another gang, his pa died, leaving only his revolver and a hat for him to grow into. The gang was never the civilized folk, living mostly out in the forests and near caves and cliffs. Anywhere Lone Star was unlikely to check, and far from any place which he could receive something vaguely representing a proper education.
Instead, he was taught tools of the trade - the trade being heisting and killing and stealing. By this point the gang's leadership changed hands a good few times, each boss lasting maybe a few months to a year at most. It never really mattered to little John. By this point he figured it'd be that way 'til the end of days. That was until a man named Slick Willie Wyld came by and changed it all forever. At first it was business as usual, but soon enough the boss was barking orders about differences. They'd still do a heist every so often, still engage with gang wars, but now it was more uniformed, more business-oriented. They became more smugglers than bandits, moving merchandise of any and all assortment throughout CAS territories and soon enough even in the SSC and UCAS land.
It still never mattered to John, who chose to just follow orders and and not give a shit. This carried on for several years with John given opportunities to rise up the ranks. Somehow, though, every time, for some reason, he'd always fuck it up and be kept a regular rank 'n' file. So to get him more-or-less out of their hair in the south he was transferred up with a few others to secure a foundation in Seattle. This suited him just fine. Was time to get a breath of fresh air.
After being confused for a shadowrunner, John's interest became piqued and he looked into it more. With a dismissive wave from Toro, which wasn't technically a no, John made his way through the hoops and got recognized as an official member of the Haven. We'll see how long that lasts.
Narrative Significant Qualities
Positive
Erased - Born without a real SIN or a last name, John already was a hard man to track through the MATRIX. Now it's nigh impossible thanks to a few palms greased and a job gone right.
Latent Dracomorphosis (Western) - Pa always said mama left before he was born. Never knew what that meant or why. Pa also said that John was special. Never knew what that meant either.
Made Man - Born into a gang, John's been operating with Los Desperados del Diablo his whole life.
Negative
Distinctive Style - John is best remembered for his cowboy hat, striking red bandana, and southern accent.
Emotional Attachment (Cavalier Champion) - Pa's revolver, given to John after his father was killed in a shoot-out.
Illiterate - Moving around and living with uneducated sort more focused on prospects of staying alive, dodging Lone Star, running heists, and drinkin' hootch, he never got the opportunity to learn most things. That includes reading and writing.
Prejudiced (Common, Outspoken - Law Enforcement) - Fuck 'em.
Uneducated - SINless, moving around often, and the lack of opportunities to get proper education, John grew up to be exactly like those around him in at least one area: He's uneducated.
Wanted (Lone Star - 32,500 Nuyen) - John's first heist was at the grand ol' age of 14. Since then he's been part of a dozen more and that's not even counting the official jobs. Lone Star's got a bounty with his name on it, and they are eager to collect. Dead Or Alive.

Appearance
John is a 6'1", early 20's human with dark brown hair and brown eyes, and slightly tanned skin indicative of an individual used to rough work and a long time in the sun.
Clothing
He wears a tan cowboy hat and a crimson bandana wrapped around his neck as well as a brown leather jacket. Underneath that is dark blue shirt with suspenders looping upward around the chest. When the jacket moves at just the right angle, one perceptive enough could notice a holster on the right hand side. Unless the weapon is in his hand, a Cavalier Deputy revolver is almost always present. Going further, John is wearing jeans that have been stitched back up a few times, as well as a patch around his right knee. For boots, he is has a pair of Lone Star Bates-Brown Combat Boots.
