Overview
Mary Claire is a woman who seems to know everyone in the club scene in Seattle. She seems to favor runners that might be newer to the life; latching onto them as either a cool older sister or mother figure, She is an African American woman who is either in her thirties and forties, hair in braids and stands roughly 5'5"; and seems to get on with many different aspects of the the running life: corporate folks, syndicates, although she's been on record as saying. "That's not hard, they all go clubbing or work with someone who does, they don't want to mess with someone who remembers Friday night. Not that I do."
She is perhaps unique in that she will meet her clients face to face, at whatever spot she wants to be in that night.
There's various whispers as to why a middle aged human still goes out to the clubs that are generally the bailiwick of the young; poor family life, looking for a partner much younger than her, is secretly working for the Yakuza, the Leasa or someone else. Guesses as to what she is actually up to generally met with a smile.
"That would be telling."
It is also known pretty well in the Seattle Shadows that one of the folks she represents is Tanuki, a thing that delights her and frustrates her to no end, and they have had a working relationship since before he came to the Haven.

Corporations | Those salarymen particularly can't keep their mouths shut. At the very least, Mary Claire prides her self in finding things from jobs from Johnsons who try to drink their woes away, from commcodes from salarymen sick of their bosses. |
