Overview
This is not a public contact.
Red Sonya is a former agent of the Russian secret service UGB. She was one of their top killers. As an adept, she excels in the use of sniper rifles and close combat. She follows the mentor spirit cat and is an outstanding sneak and lurk hunter. A few years ago she unilaterally terminated her service with the UGB, which the UGB grudgingly accepts because she continues to fulfill her missions as a freelancer. To create this separation from the UGB she has turned to the Red Vory and she is currently working on their behalf without being a Vory or belonging to their idiology. However, Alina Petrow ak Red Sonya secretly wishes for a complete separation from her past with the UGB and the Red Vory. She is a maximum professional assassin, but accepts orders only through previously known contacts. Red Sonya follows the Code of Honor Assasins Creed, which also makes it incredibly difficult for her to break away from the Red Vory and the UGB. Don't feel too safe though, Chummer Red Sonya has a very good memory for bounties - better for you if there is none out for you then you probably won't end up in a body bag.
GM recommendation
- Sonya will never kill anyone unless they are paid to do so.
- Runners can recruit them as support see aspects.
- She is a cool professional killer without emotions. She strictly follows her Code of Honor - it's probably the only thing that makes her somewhat human.
- Secretly, Red Sonya longs for emotions after life, but her training has petrified her heart so that she is no longer able to feel them on her own.
- If she is required to have values in a run, assume that she has a DP of 30 in her main disciplines of sniping, sneaking, and melee, and a DP of at least 22 in all relevant aspects of assassination. Her weapon a Barret Model 122 is attuned to her. Assume an ACC of 16. She will use non-lethal ammunition if not paid to kill.
