Overview

Greta Ziegler, or St1tch, is a former Otaku from the Allied German States who took to shadowrunning to support herself in the fallout from crash 2.0. Their career as a runner was fairly unremarkable; mid-grade corporate jobs with the occasional big score and on the side hooding work. They had a solid reputation as a hacker and field medic (hence the name), and by all accounts had a pretty decent life outside of running. That comfortable existence came to a close in the winter of '76, when while walking home after a night of drinking she was picked up by Tamanous organleggers. Even the best runners can get unlucky, a bit too drunk in the wrong place at the wrong time. She was plucked off the street like any other SINless and became new fodder for the chop shop.

The following few days were a blur of terror and anesthesia. Although St1tch had managed to get a message to her fixer before being put under, the nature of Tamanous's operations meant that it would take several days for a rescue to come. During that time the ghouls took every organ that she could live without, harvesting their product with a practiced efficiency. Not even the matrix offered an escape as the extensive surgeries frayed St1tch's connection to the resonance. By the time the rescue team extracted her, the technomancer was a shell of her former self.

The recovery process was difficult. The surgeries had left deep scars, both physical and mental, and it would take months of expensive rehab before St1tch could regain a fraction of her original ability. The rather messy escape had also led to her contracting HMHVV and becoming a highly infectious carrier. Her fixer, already in the hole after funding the rescue operation, refused to spend any more money on a burned out asset. From here the trail goes dark. It's unknown how St1tch managed to fund her recovery, but four years later the name began reappearing in Europe's shadow community.

The changes were drastic. St1tch's experiences have given her a burning vendetta against the infected, and she's abandoned running to focus solely on working against them. Recently she's come to Seattle, collaborating with the Order of the Temple in their efforts to purge the city of infected. While formerly a stealthy and non-lethal hacker, the new St1tch doesn't hesitate to drop bodies with their sprites. The heavy modifications she needs to function don't seem to be an issue; in fact, she seems to be operating at close to the level she was before her kidnapping. Rumor has it that ability has something to do with the taint of dissonance in their signature. Who's to say, really?

Traits

St1tch is soft spoken, professional, and incredibly unstable. She's driven solely by hatred of the infected, and wishes to purge them so that no one will ever have to go through what she did. She firmly believe that the ends justify the means, and as such can be extremely brutal in her methods. She's typically very composed, but when confronted with the subjects of her hatred she'll occasionally lose control and cause excessive damage/casualties. She views their dissonance and status as a carrier as a sign that their existence is cursed, and operates with little regard for her own life. On the very rare occasions that she talks about something other than work, she'll reveal an extensive knowledge of old trideo talk shows.

Vendetta	St1tch hates the infected with a burning passion. If a character has more than 4 points of positive rep with an infected faction, they cannot take this contact. In addition, every point of rep gained afterwards results in 1 point of loyalty lost. If loyalty drops to 0, the contact is burned and will become actively hostile to the character.

Dissonant Static	While normally quiet and professional, the taint of dissonance in St1tch's aura occasionally rears its head. When calling this contact, the GM rolls 1d6 in secret. On a 5 or a 6 St1tch will become agitated, aggressive, and volatile. Any checks not relating to the purging of infected will cost 50% extra and take a -2 dice penalty. In addition, the checks will be performed with little to no regard for subtlety or collateral damage. If the player argues with St1tch or questions their methods, they must either take a chip or lose 1 loyalty. with the contact.

Clean Body, Clean Soul	St1tch is a carrier of HMHVV, and is extremely cautious about preventing infection. She will not meet in person for anyone below loyalty 4, and will absolutely refuse to go anywhere with a large number of people. She's a hypochondriac, and carries around cleaning supplies to disinfect nearly every surface that she touches. Any active checks made in meatspace will take a -4 due to the difficulty of staying clean in a city as dirty as Seattle.

For the Greater Good	St1tch's goals go far beyond a simple desire for wealth. If called upon to assist with something that will harm infected, they will provide their services for a 50% discount
Know Your Enemy	To destroy a group, you must first know how they operate. St1tch's extensive research gives her +2 on any knowledge checks relating to infected physiology or society.
Datahaven Membership	Despite spending 4 years off the grid, St1tch still keeps several contacts in various datahavens across the matrix. She gains +2 to knowledge checks for illegally acquired or deliberately suppressed information.
Spiteful Sprites	St1tch is a technoshaman, and can provide a wide array of sprites to help with whatever you're doing. The maximum level of the sprite is the same as a character's loyalty with the contact. The
