Background
A gifted child, Robin Cheng was on the fast-track to a well-paying if stressful job as a security spider when one of Wuxing's well-known geomantic projects went sideways. As his educational creche was overtaken by a freak mana storm, Robin ran for cover, but did not exactly escape unscathed. Injured. facial features unrecognizable, and bearing a viscerally horrifying appearance, Robin went off the grid, assumed dead. Working his way up as a drone manager and decker, the newly-renamed Ladybird Cheng has wormed, or rather, insected, his way into the big-time.

First Impression - Ladybird tries very hard to make sure the first thing people notice about him is not the bug stuff.
Impenetrable Logic / Instinctive Hack - SURGE can do weird stuff to your mind.
Negative
Distinctive Style - I mean, what are you gonna do when you've got bug-face syndrome, dress normal?
Social Stress - Looking like a literal insect-person and having it effectively ruin your life sucks! Don't talk to Ladybird about it! They will not respond well!
Unsteady Hands - Ladybird hates using his flesh-body for actual work, it's why he never actually got good at engineering. Stress, and the involuntary rewiring of his central nervous system by SURGE, do not help.
