Overview

Born in mainland China, the twins Syaoran Keqing and Nilou grew up to poor parents. They showed aptitude to magics and were sold into the Triad. This did not bode well for their future, and their lives were not made easy. During their time they were stripped of their identity and given the title "Quanxi". Little much of their lives happened between then and now, focused only on working and keeping their nose down so that both twins would stay together. Many times they were separated and hurt by those they worked for, and until they were working in Seattle one fateful November evening, they were almost entirely going to live their lives out in servitude.

On a run, they bumped into someone they had heard of before, 'Lingchi'. Though, the Lingchi they knew was someone also in servitude, working with the triad. Though the words they were 'I gave up so much to be free' they realized very quickly they too could be free. Seeing that Lingchi had killed their previous master, they decided right then and their they were free, and so they were let into the streets of Seattle, unhindered and unfettered for the first time since they were little. With a contact full of Triad and Corpo information, they've much to share and offer the shadows of Seattle.

Yet, a formidable figure with an unyielding gaze put pressure on and influenced the Quanxi Twins. Without uttering a single word, it was conveyed a proposition that left an unspoken weight in their lives. "If you want all your worries to go away, then we'll make all your worries go away." The Quanxi Twins, feeling the weight of the situation, reluctantly agreed to the offer, unaware of the intricate web of consequences that awaited them.

In the aftermath of their agreement, it became apparent that the cost of making their worries vanish was the relinquishment of Nilou. The terms of the dark bargain set Syaoran, one of the twins, into a dark spiral after they realized they were alone now. Instead of freedom, the shadows tightened around the Quanxi Twins, now seperated.

Nilou Keqing is the more outgoing but deaf of the two, Syaoran is the less outgoing but able to hear.
