Summary
The Finnigan Family has tasked The Hounds with eliminating a nearby Triad outpost after it was found that a Finnigan had started using funds for their own purposes. Spriggan however was busy, so the Hounds looked to hiring external help for solving this issue.
Background
The Finnigan Family is part of the O'Malley Syndicate, and has many enemies within Seattle. One of which, is enterprising upstarts who use Finnigan funds for their own purpose, of which a one Anna O'Hartigan was doing. It did not go unnoticed, so the Finnigans tasked the Hounds with dealing with them. When the Hounds found out that Anna was dealing with the Yellow Lotus Triads, they wanted to call in more help from their leader, but they were indisposed. The Hounds without their leader couldn't figure out a plan, so they decided to call in extra help.
The Meet
Meeting with the Hounds was unorthodox to say the least. Having 5 Js that were somewhat confrontational and downright lazy posed a hard target to negotiate with. Karen tried to keep everyone together, but Casey was being subordinate (as usual). Akane and Ranni ended up pulling through with the information, even though neither one was willing to help more than feeding general information. Though, with solid information on where and when the meeting was, the runner team had a solid idea of where to go in order to find and eliminate the target.
The Plan
The Js asked for proof of the targets death and the info on the comlink, but they asked for physical proof of at least one; either the data and a finger or head, or a pic of the body / vide of the death and the physical comlink itself. With that in tow, Eidolon planned to snipe, Bhop planned to electronically infiltrate, Red Ribbon would pilot drones and check the place out / provide backup to Lingchi, and Lingchi would summon and sneak inside.
The Run
Once at the location, the team started to legwork the area. Finding someone with a large deck and a big astral presence, the team decided to avoid sneaking in directly and start with a frontal assault, which would send the enemy into disarray and allow Lingchi to sneak in more easily. The opening shots dealt with the enemy decker and the target, and Bunny Hoop was able to squelch the other commlink on the area. Shots from the drone and groin shots from the sniper proved to disable the enemy team's grunts easily.
Things started to become hectic when the enemy team's opposition started to play tactically smart; One of them used the death of their teamates to look for invisible agents, another used the incoming fire to triangulate the enemy sniper, and the mage used their illusions to fool the drones. This did not however hinder Lingchi from sneaking into the back through the use of being carried by their Air spirit.
When Lingchi got to the room holding the targetted commlink, the enemy mage who had disapeared from the battlefield revealed themselves holding a gun, only for them to speak out "Lingchi? Is that you?". This caught Lingchi off guard, who described that they were not part of the Triads, but instead here to remove the target. She went on to let the mage know that she had given up much to be free; her arm, her sight, her tattoos. When Lingchi asked if the mage would interfere, she revealed her name, Quanxi, as well as the fact Quanxi was actually two mages, who were twins. They mentioned "Now that he [the leader of this group] is dead, we are free." The other Quanxi signed "Take this if you want to talk" And offered her a burner commlink so the two could talk privately later. Taking the commlink and bidding each other farewell, Lingchi could see the twins shroud themselves in the safety of illusions and hide with themselves, waiting for a moment to get away from the Triads.
Aftermath
With the commlink and proof of the target's death, the team extracted not only themselves but also trafficked people who were there as well. Returning to the Hounds the team was paid, and then the data was given to Spriggan who gave the data to the O'Malleys.

I started tasting the possibility of retaliation there towards the end, got tense. Nothing materialized, though, so... another job well done?
