Overview

Once known as Karen 'Sketch' O'Malley, once a low-ranking Finnigan Family grunt within the hound Squad, has undergone significant transformations over the past year. Formerly addicted to BTLs, Karen found solace and purpose in her association with Lappland and the Hounds, a group of individuals with low standing in the Finnigan hierarchy. The Hounds have since disbanded, and have turned into more or less a small family.

Since then, Karen has risen to become the second in command their group, demonstrating leadership qualities that extend beyond her initial role. Despite her persistent struggle with BTL addiction, Karen has become a pivotal figure within the group. Her loose interpretation of commands and ability to adapt plans to better suit the needs of the team have earned her both respect and a leadership role. Many Hounds see Karen as the de facto leader, especially in Lappland's absence.

However, Karen's journey doesn't stop there. The BTL addiction that once plagued her has become a part of her past, as she has found new purpose and direction. Taking on a fixer role within Seattle for low-time shadowrunners, Karen has established herself as a valuable asset in the shadows. Her safehouse, provided by The Halloweeners, serves as a hub for her operations.

In her role as the leader of the Hounds, Karen has mastered the delicate art of team management, orchestrating missions and ensuring the squad's cohesion. However, in the moments between shadows and contracts, Karen finds solace and respite in the company of the team's unofficial mascot, Leaf—a Fenrir Wolf that has become a beloved companion to all members of the Hounds.
