Summary

Hiyo~ You can call me Dango! So this is the Haven interview? Cool! Can't wait to show you what I've got! A little bit about me? I'm your friendly neighborhood Decker! I can hack, charm, operate drones, and I'm even setting up a little shop once I get my cooking license and find a place. Hmm? Oh my blue and pink hair? My starry eye? Pretty cool huh? Programed the eye color on my contacts myself and did the dye job myself too! Uhh...might make me more noticeable on job....

Background

So what you want to know about me? Ah, basic background? Sure!

My parents are Renraku executives and I was raised in luxury. Personal Chefs, Bodyguards, personal tutors. When to the best high school in Japan...actually moved provinces and everything...Hm? Oh...right...

So...about my physical condition. Yeah when I was 5 years old I suffered a spinal injury. Nearly went fully paralyzed. Because of that..even now I have a reflex booster and some bioware to help with my hand-eye coordination and reaction time. But as you can see from my doctor and physical therapist notes...I'm only slightly below average on most physical benchmarks! I haven't had a physical issue since I finished my therapy!

One silver lining was while I was paralyzed, I focused on the Mental and not the Physical. I trained my mind, used the Matrix and lived in AR and VR for years while training my body back. Got really good at Computer Science, Hacking, Software and Hardware! Got a Full Ride to UC Berkeley and graduated with Honors.

Then well...things didn't go so well. I took a job from my parents at Renraku. But there was this exec, Mr. Takemura. He REALLY wanted me to be his....ugh..wife. Bribed my parents with whatever it was; didn't really matter, my parents chose that over me. Well, I didn't want to be a trophy wife to some 40 year old grimey suit sooo

I wish I could say I got out on my own...but I couldn't...I didn't know how. I only knew how to be a good little sysop spider. But then...one day out of nowhere in the Matrix...she came. She effortlessly defeated me as well as the IC and even held of Grid Convergence. but she didn't steal anything. Instead she left me a message. Said if I wanted my life back, I'd have to take it back with my own two hands. She would help me, so I could have a chance in this dark new world.

I didn't know what to do. All I knew was I didn't want to be like this anymore. To live this life anymore. I wanted a new life. So I took the chance. I learned more about her, learned her techniques and her skills. Even picked up her love of Japanese Cuisine!

When I learned what she did and what she accomplished...I asked her a simple question: Could I take up her mantle? Whereever I ended up...I felt someone like her was needed, Someone unafraid to dive into dangerous places and take the information and secrets that corporation have greedily stolen away and kept to themselves for their benefit, at the cost of the common person.

She originally didn't like it...but I persisted. When she realized I wouldn't take no for an answer. She relented. We broke out of my cage at Renraku even managed to snag a nice deck and some decent gear on the way out! Left Silicon Valley and now I'm here in Seattle, ready to continue the legend!

So how about it? Give me the green light and I'll won't rest until I'm the best Hacker in Seattle! Just watch me!

Exceptional Attribute: Hm? My IQ results exceeds that of a normal Human? Cause I'm just that amazing! ...Honestly? My Parents messed with a lot of geneware and stuff, maybe a result of designer genetics?
