Summary
A complicated young man with a mildly disturbing history, who has arrived to Seattle and carved out a practical life for himself in the Shadows and the Barrens. Lately Psyche is confronted with some serious doubts about the Psionic tradition and is soul searching a bit that way.
Goals
- Expand his repertoire and knowledge base
- Learn more about the Awakened community and magical theory and expanding his horizons past his former cult.
- Survive and build a life in and out of the shadows
Background
Eldin Masters was designed to be "Perfect" in a basement lab in Southern California by overly rich Corporate executive parents in Southern California. One of who knows how many genetically modified babies in the first generation of Biochildren. Eldin's parents were always casual dilletantes about the area including the local popularization of cults in the wake of the Universal Brotherhood scandal. When the great quake of 69' hit Los Angeles, they took the cult quite a bit more seriously. Even moreso when Eldin awakened shortly after the quake. Eldin moved with his folks into a section of Angeles National Forest long held as privae property by the obscenely rich or incredibly old California families.
As the years past the members of the cult dwindled, and Eldin did his best to simply remain on the outskirts, using his abilities to join the security team that patrolled the borders of the Cult's compound.He learned the majority of his magical practice from another Adept of a similar mindset out on the boundary work who understood his magical mindset better than any of the cult's training had managed to stick. Ultimately this would put Eldin on the bordergrounds of the cult compound when the PCC government raided it on suspicion of Blood Magic infiltrators joining it. In the surrounding chaos Eldin did find himself beset by a few blood spirits and assisting the PCC who informed him 'after the fact he was in fact, a citizen, in the Anexation of Los Angeles, and allowed him to start a new life for himself. Emerald City here we come.
