Search for the Sevenfold Staff

The Sevenfold Staff is a relic of the Fourth World which was sundered into seven parts during the Scourge. It is believed to be of Theran origin, and even in its shattered state the seven fragments are powerful artifacts which possess great magical power. Ancient legends say that the staff - in its complete form - is capable if increasing the wielder's power sevenfold; other stories say it is the key to invoking powerful spirits the likes of which are unknown to modern-day conjurers, or accessing esoteric metamagic arts which have been lost to time. Some tales say that the staff was broken apart not by accident but for a good reason, and that should it ever be reunited great calamity will follow.
Currently the pieces are distributed all throughout the world - however, the signs and portents say that they will soon be reunited.
Factions
Draco Foundation
The Foundation seek to reunite the staff before other less benevolent forces can do so and put its power to malevolent ends. Having had great success in the past using shadowruners to achieve their goals, they have decided on a plan of using in-house operatives to locate the fragments and contracting freelance mercenaries to retrieve them. Their hope is to keep rivals such as the Atlantean Foundation and the Apep Consortium from realizing their intent; whether they succeed in doing so and avoiding interference from other organizations in their efforts remains to be seen.
Atlantean Foundation
The *other* Foundation, and the DF's main rivals in the arcano-archaeology field, the Atlanteans seek the Sevenfold Staff fragments as relics of lost Thera. Informed of the pieces' whereabouts by Alexandria - a friendly AI equipped with a vast repository of knowledge regarding ancient artifacts - they are more than willing to use the AA-level resources from their highly-successful media empire to hire their own teams of runners.
Apep Consortium
A relatively new player in the game, Apep - a consortium of African companies - has rapidly gained ground on the more established orgs and managed to get themselves acquired by MCT. Now with the money and knowledge base of a major backer, they're looking to score a win on their competitors.
Black Lodge
Always seeking an edge over their draconic adversaries, and looking to lay claim to any ancient magical artifacts they can find, the Lodge are a ruthless and powerful magical cabal who will stop at nothing to get what they want - unfortunately, what they want are the Sevenfold Staff pieces.

The Staff Fragments
The staff is composed of seven parts, as its name suggests - they are made from an unknown shiny silvery metal which does not tarnish with age. The seven pieces of the staff are scattered around the world, one piece per continent. Their current locations are as follows:
