Emily ws born in 2062 to a single mother. Her father died in a car accident before she was born,, which she doesn't like talking about much. Despite being bright, she only ever put enough effort in to pass high school with the exact minimum to graduate. She then proceeded to lounge about the house for a year playing matrix games and before her mother finally had enough and threatened to kick her out if she didn't get a job. After flunking out of an apprenticeship for becoming a spider, she took her chances with joining the Military. She went through her screenings without problem and was shipped off to boot. Due to Emily's unwillingness to exercise prior to the military, she wasn't very fit. Knowing she wouldn't have a home to go back to if she failed due to her failure in her apprenticeship, Despite her begin woefully unprepared, she couldn't give up. Facing extreme exhaustion, she was certain she was going to die. But then, she awakens. | |||
In an explosion of magic, Emily found herself floating. After it being found that she's a full fledged magician, her boot was changed to that of mages, which was much easier physically.
