Overview

Ziz is the head of (or head representative of?) a clandestine criminal organization of boundless reach, vast resources, and deep reserves of arcane knowledge. At least, that's what they'd have you believe. An astute observer who had access to all of their abilities would note that they never act - or order anyone else to act - with the overwhelming force or magical power they claim to have at their disposal. Such an observer might note that their communications are almost always done through the matrix or through low-ranking 'agents' with little-to-no personal influence, suggesting that Ziz's claims of global presence and immense power are... exaggerative.

Aspects Description

Aspect Description
View From Above Ziz, while mostly focused on their own interests, is nonetheless detached enough from everyday goings-on to take a longer-term and wider view of events. Ziz has +2 to Knowledge checks relating to a large-scale state of affairs, for example the political zeitgeist of Seattle, or the financial trajectories of the Big 10.
Dark Mage While Ziz is an obscure figure, they are not shy about their status as an Awakened, and one of a particularly shady tradition. Ziz has +2 to Active and Knowledge checks relating to their magical prowess.
Inside Connections Ziz's wings cast a wide shadow. They have +2 to Networking checks to connect with people on the inside of legitimate local institutions.
Outside Connections Ziz's goals are not limited to one measly city, and neither is their reach. Ziz has +2 to Gear Acquisition checks to acquire items that are smuggled either into or out of Seattle, either restricted, forbidden, or stolen.
Bloodthirsty Ziz is, to put it bluntly, a bit mad, and they like to see the order of the world shaken and people hurt, either for their own enjoyment or to further some elaborate scheme. They have +2 to checks to assist runners in activities that they believe will lead to large-scale disruption or or extreme suffering.
Shrouded In Shadows Ziz prefers to operate in secret, and the runners that take jobs from them to remain low-key. They have +2 to Networking Checks related to maintaining secrecy or stealth.
