Summary

A young dwarf decker with pretty extensive street medicine knowledge. Couronne is paranoid about getting sick and always wears a respirator face mask when out in public; consequently, she won't eat in public since it would mean removing her respirator (she prefers to get her food "to-go").

Goals

Though she never finished her higher schooling to become a doctor as her family had hoped, Couronne tries to keep improving her street medicine in order to help herself and her fellow runners.

She also donates to charitable foundations that help those afflicted with VITAS and that are searching for a cure for VITAS. This cause is very close to her heart and she would consider doing shadowruns that helped the fight against VITAS for little-to-no compensation

Background

Couronne was born in Louisiana in the CAS and has a National SIN (Colette Traiteur, CAS). Her parents were both doctors who worked for DocWagon in Louisiana. When she was 12, they both contracted VITAS and died. She was then raised by her grandmother who lived in Seattle. Her grandmother was also a medic for DocWagon and taught her a lot about street medicine, hoping she would follow her parents' footsteps and become a doctor as well. Though Couronne understood what she was taught and found it interesting, she was plagued by fear and paranoia about getting sick and instead focused her other energies on becoming a great decker. She also now always wears a respirator mask when out in public.
