Overview
Mother Komodo is a Japanese woman that stands about 4'10" with a greying streak of hair across her temple drawn back in a serious, severe bun. She wears a power suit and skirt, the color of jade and white. She seems more imposing than what her height suggests and carries herself with a proud demeanor. Her work is her pride and joy, working for the metahuman downtrodden, a thing that got her and her husband removed from the Japanese Imperial State almost 20 years ago. She had resisted working with Shadowrunners, but after an incident involving her husband's death, and more than a few incidents that she cannot solve herself, has decided she is better off working with those inclined to help.
There are whispers that she looks like a runner on the Haven, although whether this is just a superficial resemblance or if Mother Komodo is related to that particular runner remains to be seen. After a recent run thanks to one particular runner, it is confirmed she is Tanuki's mother.
Aspects Description
Aspect | Description |
---|---|
Wanted | Mother Komodo has angered multiple humans rights groups and more than a few Syndicates who have made a living off of the subjugation of her clients. A number of them would be happy to have her dead; and more than a few might have the money to put a price on her head. |
Lawyer | Mother Komodo has worked in both criminal and civil law, and while her emphasis is on metahuman rights as a whole, she is able to assist with any sort of legal trouble. |
Metahuman Rights Activist | Mother Komodo, for the better part of her life, has worked as an activist lawyer. She is known by and can contact many metahuman rights groups, or can step in with players who need help with metahuman communities. |
Bilingual | Mother Komodo's first language is Japanese, and she can speak and interpret in that language, if needed. |
Contract Negotiator | This is not Mother Komodo's law emphasis, but fighting against evictions and earning her clients damages for various illegalities written into contracts has made her both a particularly good negotiator and person to turn to when needing legal documents analyzed for their legality. |
Syndicate Protected | Mother Komodo is under Laesa Syndicate protection, and has an assigned bodyguard Heavy Metal. She has greater knowledge about syndicate matters and etiquette, as a result. Anyone who endangers her may harm their relationship with the Laesa Syndicate. |
Champion for the Neighborhood | Mother Komodo particularly helps metahumans from poor metahuman communities, such as the Redmond Barrens and Tarislar. She has knowledge about these communities, as a result. |
