Lane Aime / Ghostwire is an Ex Corpo turned Knight Errant Lieutenant. They left RenRaku to follow their dreams as a soldier and officer of the law with Knight Errant, but when their colleague was terminated unjustly, they realized the mistake in their judgement. Lane spoke out about the treatment of their colleague to which they received harsh criticism. Their time at KE came to a sudden close when they were controlled by a mind mage cleaner to kill two members of their team. Directly after they were stripped of rank and power and left without much, not even Renraku would take them in. Without the proper drugs and medications to help control their forcibly-applied cybernetics, they were left reeling and through the trauma of it all, rejected the former personality of having anything to do with Knight Errant.

Ghostwire was corpor bred, coming from rich parents who were already part of RenRaku, as were their parents before them. When push came to shove and their bosses demanded results, Ghostwire was put on the chopping block first. DNA was spliced and added, making him a prototype weapon. When he found out the truth of himself, he left Renraku to go and work for Knight Errant to try and stop these sorts of injustices.

Part of Ghostwire's termination was a cleaner squad using her to kill others within Knight Errant. When the dust had settled, she was let go with extreme prejudice, not even given a seconds notice before her life was thrust onto the streets. A runner who worked with KE and enjoyed what they did? People have it out for her, bad.


*Blank Slate

Lane spoke out about the treatment of their colleague to which they received harsh criticism. Their time at KE came to a sudden close when they were controlled by a mind mage cleaner to kill two members of their team. Directly after they were stripped of rank and power and left without much, not even Renraku would take them in. Without the proper drugs and medications to help control their forcibly-applied cybernetics, they were left reeling and through the trauma of it all, rejected the former personality of having anything to do with Knight Errant.
The trauma from losing herself and almost everything she owned, Ghostwire lost her personality into several fractures. She isn't who she used to be.

After proposing to [[Delta-03]], Ghostwire retired from running to work full time at their clinic. They now work as a contact for the Seattle area, connecting folks to the clinic and other medical services.
The trauma of her past causes her to lose sleep on a frequent basis. Many nights are spent restless and alone.
