Summary

A refugee of the Aztlan-Amazonian war, who fled up the Pacific coast to escape the conflict in Bogotá before getting picked up by the Ancients as a tech specialist.

After a decent bit of time running with the Go-Gang up and down the coast from LA to Seattle, she's finally joining a chapter that stays closer to someplace she may be able to call home.

Goals

Short Term:

• Make herself a home here in Seattle.
• Get to know strong people.
• Get some of this used 'ware replaced. It's dinged to hell.

Long Term:

• Turn into a lean, mean, cybered up deckersamurai machine.
• Piss off security forces.

Background

Born in Bogotá to an Amazonian mother and an Aztlanner father, Insonia had family on both sides of the border as a child. Her family was wealthy enough that they were able to arrange border crossings to see both - and they even vacationed in portions of Aztlan, her father's work as a decker for Amazonian forces earning the family decent pay.

Of course, as the 2070's rolled around, she saw her father less and less. There were increasing concerns about tensions between Aztlan and Amazonia, with espionage and incidents between the two governments increasing in intensity and frequency. When war broke out, Bogotá was at the heart of it, with Amazonian and Aztlanner forces clashing in and around the city at the epicenter of the war. At first, her family stayed relatively safe, able to play off both sides - her father's native Spanish and usefulness to both sides able to cover for whose side he was truly on.
