Overview
A wild-haired free spirit with an actual citizenship SIN, Adeptus or as she goes by with her legal name, "Ada Harrington" loves reading. It's something she consumes more than anything else. Alongside occasional reagents given to her by Awakened individuals stopping by for a spirit's opinion on things, Ada eats karma for services rendered but also accepts nuyen when it comes time to pay her rent. Currently she squats in Taru Satukanto's investigator's office and pays for the privilege by working as a secretary as well as occasionally finding her work thanks to constantly juggling all kinds of contact information. For her, phone calls not being available isn't such a big deal when she's mapped out Seattle's entire astral space and can travel to people in person within seconds. She's easy to draw to a location by drawing her signature sigil in the air with a lit cigarette, since it acts as her calling card of sort. As a Guidance spirit, she also offers some minor services, but don't expect her to be powerful enough to survive in a fight. She's just fine staying in the safety of a mage's lodge when she doesn't have to go outside.
Notes For A GM
- Ada loves karma and will act like a greedy freaking rat if she has to get some.
- Despite that, she's most often drawn to people undergoing unusually extreme suffering and strife. Why she's drawn to them, she won't say, but she tries to offer counsel when she does.
- Tries to bargain for more when she sees the opportunity (read: all the time) but she's actually pretty bad at convincing anyone.
- When it comes to serious business, she can maintain a decent enough facade and follow social cues, but she's a mischievous type outside formalities.
- Loves watching people smoke. Why? Nobody knows, but she wants to keep stockpiling Deepweed or Zen so she can offer it to people.
- Is extremely quick to judge people that force spirits to do things against their will. If you're not sure, ask her. She'll provide that advice for free.
- Can't be contacted over the Matrix, gonna have to call her with a cigarette and drawing a ><> symbol in the air.
