Summary

A Trideo and BTL star from Tír na nÓg who signed a contract with Horizon, but disappeared during an on-set filming in Rome. When next she was seen by the media, she had become a nun in Vatican City, and now makes her way to Seattle to start another chapter of her life

Background

Born in Tír na nÓg to an influential family, Sionann Flanagon had a happy childhood, finding herself making friends with many of the other children around her, as well as charming the adults whom she made contact with. It was clear that she had a promising future ahead of her. When Horizon had a talent scout in Dublin looking for new potentail, Sionann immediately caught the attention of agent and was signed to a Horizon contract to become a child actress.

For years Sionann was flown from place to place, surrounded by both the luxury and the shadowy underbelly of the Entertainment Industry. She was augmented as was needed for various roles and commercials, and by the time she was in her mid-teens, she had been in 9 theatrical releases and had not a single moment to herself. She had a handler, one of Horizon's middle-management types: Liam Abbas. Who spent his time trying to exploit Sionann's popularity as much as possible. It was becoming overwhelming, even for a girl who had known nothing else in her life.

At age 19, Sionann was fed up with feeding her corporate masters, and, during a filming of The Pope's Secret Bride in Rome Sionann broke away from the Horizon entourage that surrounded her most of her life and disappeared into the sprawling European city. Living a few days on the streets of Rome, she eventually found herself in the shadier parts of town. She needed a way of making some Nuyen and didn't have much but her augments and her acting talent, and as such she started working with local "studios", eventually starting to record BTLs for distribution. Some of the beetles ended up more popular than her trideo releases and the Matrix almost immediately connected her to this BTL "star". However between money from BTLs, and a near-constant high in both simsense and on drugs, Sionann cared very little.

After six years as a BTL star, Sionann disappeared once again. No sign of her remained. Many theorized that Horizon had caught up with her for breaking her contract and had sent Shadowrunners after her, but the truth was even more bizarre. Sionann had actually made her way to Vatican City and, through confession with a certain priest, was welcomed into the church. Becoming an acolyte of the Order of The Temple. She left behind all the sins of her past and learned about the mission of the Catholic Church as well as how the corporations had begun to erode people's faith. For three years she was out of the public eye, learning skills that she would have not thought the Church would teach, but eventually she was approached by the same priest that had received her confession and was given a task. Go to Seattle, and enter the shadows. Help people, and spread the word of the Church.
