Background
Mr. Sawyer was a college student in the CAS when things went...wrong. He, as most students of public universities in the for-profit Sixth World university system, needed some extra dough. So he signed up for an experimental medical trial. Five treatments in, all was fine, and he was making some substantial money. Six in, and he developed SURGE series III. No one can figure out why, but in the still generally metaracist south, it lead to...the usual. He eventually scraped together enough funding to get himself a new identity in the UCAS, hoping to start over in Seattle. He sometimes moonlights as an art model to pick up some side cash, but is hoping to turn his unique aesthetic and talent for talking others round to his way of thinking into a profitable skillset in the Shadows.
