Overview

Treasa (Treh-Sah) is an Elvar of the Vedryn clan. A lesser noble of the Seelie Court, she has journeyed from her plane to build her power, to further the cause of her mistress, and to interact once more with the mortal world. A longtime veteran of politics and intrigue, she works in the shadows as a puppeteer, carefully manipulating events to advance the position of the Court. When not at work, she delights in interacting with mortals, those of passion and drive. She gives aid, inspiration and patronage, always with a price.

GM Notes

  • Here are general tips I have for running Seelie Fae. These apply to Treasa.
  • Like most fae, she's snarky and an asshole to people she doesn't respect. However, she's not always like that. She can be quite nice and charming if she wants to, generally to manipulate people, but if she somehow actually respects you, it might be genuine.
  • She hates people who think of spirits as lesser to them. She also hates people who read one paragraph on Elvar and think they know everything about her. The arrogance of a mortal thinking that, makes her quite annoyed. If she gets either vibe from a person, she will treat them quite terribly, though the exact way varies.
  • She enjoys verbal sparring with people. If they are good at it, her opinion might improve. She doesn't enjoy blatant disrespect and insolence though. There is a game to it. If they are acting the obstinate fool, sometimes she will react poorly.
  • She serves Lady Fiona Ruairc, enforcing the hidden will of the Queen through the shadows.

Aspects Description

Aspect Description
Capricious Nature Sometimes Treasa decides to steal a bit of fun out of particularly stupid or insulting requests. At the GM's discretion, if such an ask is made, make a hidden loyalty test. If 2 or fewer hits are scored, Treasa will bend and interpret the request in a way that amuses her, very likely to your peril. She will not do this if the stakes are important to her, and she attempts to be relatively non-malicious with her fun if the player has a loyalty of 4 or greater.
Gifts of the Fae Beware the favors of the Fae. Paying off an owed chip requires either a major and often hazardous task, or one that is truly unpleasant to the character, (GM's discretion). Owed chips cause double the normal penalty on contact rolls.
Ageless Apathy Mortals pass in the blink of an eye. Easy to use, hard to care for. To stand out, you have to shine. CDP/RVP costs to raise contact loyalty are doubled.
Magical Mastery Treasa is an expert magician, with experience beyond what most can fathom. +2 to all Tests involving Magic or things related to it.
Metaplanar Guide Treasa knows about the realms beyond reality and those who inhabit them. +2 to Tests involving Spirits and the Metaplanes.
Seelie Expert Treasa is something of an expert on the Fae and their largest organization. +2 to Tests involving the Fae or the Seelie Court.
Court of Vipers Treasa is well acquainted with the dirty morass of politics, both Fae and Mortal. Something things aren't so different. +2 to Tests regarding politicians, politics, and any topics related to them.
Embedded Agents Treasa has been administering a network of spies and informants. She can relate some of that to you. +2 to Knowledge Tests regarding corporations, states, or political groups.
Matrix Resources She really doesn't understand it, but she can still tell it's important. Or at least that's what her aides say. Anyway, she's adaptable. +2 to Networking Tests for hackers, matrix groups, and AIs.
Magical Acquisitions Her connections can procure a wide range of magical equipment for you. +2 Gear Acquisition Tests for Foci and Lodge Supplies. Note foci as made by Fiona Ruairc. Aka "Sarah".
A Whisper to the Soul The passions, ambitions, of mortals sing to her. She creates the desires that enslave them. +2 to Tests to help manipulate or influence a target.
Patron of the Arts Treasa finds delight in mortal artists. Their passion, their creativity, their spirit. She takes it all and returns it, more, less, changed. +2 to Tests involving arts, artists, inspirations, and passions.
Hollow Shells There are always supplicants who think they can cheat the Fae. Payment always comes due. Treasa has many disposable thralls, hollowed out, drained of spirit and motivation, but seeded well throughout the area.
Scarlet Painter Everyone has hobbies. +2 towards Active Tests to paint. Mock her creations and maybe you'll have a connection to them, intimately.
