Goals

While Poppet's separate personas have varying individual desires and impulses, they generally share the goal of maintaining their collective safety and comfort, and generally choose to do so by working runs, since their skills are so oriented towards criminality. Poppet is also interested in investigating her having been "blanked" and the roughly 6-month period afterward of which she recalls nothing, perhaps eventually finding a way to reconstruct her former personality and create a p-fix based on her.

Background

An experimental clone created by the Ares Megacorporation in the wake of the matrix disasters of the '60s, Experiment 0 was given her title when, after 10 years of nourishment and training, flaws in her genetic programming crippled her physical acuity and rendered her a "0". Sequestered away from the other clones for use as a genetic test case, Experiment 0's awakening went mostly unnoticed until she encountered the Elder God whose knowledge would enable her to escape her confinement, Azazel. Due to her physical infirmities, security around Experiment 0 was focused mainly on keeping the unwelcome out rather than her in, so with the application of a few choice spells, the newly-minted mystic adept was able to break out of the facility in the Barrens in which she was kept, levitating her way out of the security net and into scenic, crime-infested Redmond.

Quickly attracting attention for her freakish looks and outsized magical power, the experiment found herself approached by a shadowy fixer. Drawn in by offers of complimentary 'ware to reverse her degeneration, the newly- minted 'Aya Wave', alias Messenger 7, found herself a shadowrunner.
