Character Information
Summary
Newt in an amphibian SURGE whose mutations forced them into the lowest reaches of the Orcish Underground. There she eked out a living as a scavenger, using her body, smarts, and newly awakened magic to keep herself alive. She was guided through this process by her mentor spirit, Raven, and became a talented psychometrist who studied the knowledge hidden within in Seattle's trash. One such piece of trash, a rusted claw hammer at the bottom of an abandoned dump, gave her the most intense vision of her life. It was a murder weapon, and as she watched the scene play out the victim looked at her. She wasn't just seeing her murderer, she wasn't even looking at anyone who might be watching. She was looking at Newt, and calling for her to find them.
Consumed by an obsession with the woman from her vision, Newt has taken to the shadows to hunt for leads on who she was. She is a talented scout and ruthless survivalist, held back by her paranoia and social skills. She's constantly on the hunt for new things to use her psychometry on, believing that she exists as a witness for the spirits trapped in the objects. Her magic is tuned for stealth and investigation, and although she can hold her own she falls apart quickly in direct confrontations. Even if all else fails, though, you don't need that much skill to fire a shotgun.
