Summary

Legion is an Albino Minotaur from the Vatican. As an Ex-Military Engineer he uses his skills as a Rigger and uses his naturally large physique to take bullets for the team. Due to his upbringing he does follow the Roman Catholic faith.

Background

Legion does not know where he was originally born, though it is suspected he was born in Greece. He was left on the doorstop of a Cardinal in Rome with a note in the cradle asking to keep him, seeing no other option the Cardinal adopted the young Minotaur. Being Albino and a Troll Metavariant, he was at first treated with distrust and malice while growing up though this lessened during his years in education. He was registered as an Italian national with a legit SIN. He joined the Catholic church during these formative years and was prepared by his father to join the Clergy in time, though during puberty his horns grew in, and in a rage attacked someone who called him a monster based off his whitened fur and blood-red eyes caused by the albinism. This lead the Cardinals to take drastic action and condemned him, filling his head with ideals of redemption and eventually leading him to flagellation which was a choice he made himself after his seminary and joining the ranks of the Clergy, he never let his father know of this. The extreme stress caused by this event triggered Francesco's awakening, knowing this, the Cardinals sent him to one of the minor Holy Orders who could watch over him and watch his progress at the age of 13. Eventually, after 3 years of studying the varying religions of the world, and tending to his own flock in Rome, he was picked out by the Vigilia Evangelica.

To dull the pain he found an interest in machines, dubbed "God's gift to humanity" and began tinkering and eventually found something he was interested in. At first the Vigilia had trouble tempering the young Minotaur, and saw it fit that he may be better put to use in the field rather than locking him away, and as such was sent to the Italian Military where he could watch and report to them, as well as act as a Military Clergyman. While in the military he learned more about machines, having his own ware implanted despite his Awakened nature to better immerse himself in it. He returned to the Vatican after his second tour, he found that most of the people there looked at him with spite and further malice though could not tell why, before his adoptive father told him the people saw him as a monster, a murderer and a demon who prefers cold steel over flesh and is willing to kill. He was supposed to return to the Vigilia after this, but was turned away from them after the discovery of his tendencies to flagellate and not willing to tarnish their reputation with this they made him take his vow of silence over what he had seen (which he does keep to this day) and banished him from the Order.

Ever since Francesco has left the Vatican and joined the shadows using his skills as a Rigger, priest and a soldier to make some money and hopefully find a place where he will not be hated for who he is. While his moral compass has dwindled to better serve his new position old habits die hard, and he still has a tendency to lash himself for his percieved crimes, he hopes to one day find redemption or at the very least inner peace.

Appearance

Legion is a 9' 2'' tall Minotaur weighing in at roughly 500lbs, his body is covered in thick white fur due to his Albinism, this body is scarred from his beliefs on flagellism. While his eyes are cybernetic implants, he chose to keep them his natural red colour. His hair has developed a mane around his head and the majority of it is tied back into a pony-tail while working, when down it could be said he looks like an Albino Yak or Scottish Highlander. His horns are extensive and look similar to those of a Highlander.

Clothing

Legion wears a simple set of clothing consisting of a shirt and camo trousers. But most of the time he's wearing his Christian vestements.

His armour is Heavy Security, used to not only take the brunt of attacks but to also add to his intimidation and hopefully quell violence by looking like the bigger foe.

Matrix Persona

A white Minotaur donning armour similar to that of Roman Legionnaires, it has Christian symbols adorning it and his face is covered by the helmet.
