Summary
The gang works for the Cutters for a bit and clears some lunatics from a bar.
Background
After Pump King Jack and his Starscreamers were cleared out of Sophocles, other gangs began bickering over the territory. Now, the Cutters want a piece of the action, too.
The Meet
Crimes shows up in a sleazy bar in Touristville. The runners have a brief chat with the bartender who seriously is not paid enough to give a rat's ass about what's happening. The runners like this a lot and are endeared to him. As for the meet itself, Crimes looks a little suspicious at the elves present but offers them the job anyway. The plan is to strike at a supply headquarters of Halloweeners in Sophocles. The runners will clean the place and let Cutters grab the supplies, that way Halloweeners in the region go down far easier to the Cutters' own forces.
Obviously, Voltage doesn't feel super comfortable with working for the Cutters as an Ancients member, but Levine Asdrubael Velen convinces her to do it to let the gangs tear each other apart. Ancients can come in later and swoop the place clean. As for the rest, it seems like a relatively easy job to do. Crimes mentions that apparently the Reality Hackers have been hired to help the Halloweeners as mercenaries, so they might have to look out a bit.
The Plan
The plan is to bash the door in and kill everyone. Okay, Zero will do some recon as a spooky projection but that's it. And truth be told, she finds there to be plenty of folks, including one with HMHVV! A carrier, not Infected, fortunately, but still.
The Run
The team turns up, gets a good sneak attack off and murders people left and right from the flamethrower sentry to regular grunts and the full-body replacement cybersamurai. Voltage and the cybersam engage in some cool as hell hand to hand fighting with talons and hand razors after two rockets from the latter fail to actually hurt that much. The grunts try throwing flashbangs, grenades and tear gas, but it only does so much before the favor is returned and they're ruined. From the back alley, however, charges forth a frothing mad murderman permanently berserk on K-10 who yells about skinning everyone alive. While he poses a serious threat to Arun with his shotgun, Cold Hands is there to cover them.
Zero sneaks in as a rat and spooks people with ice spikes, including some of the mages. By the time they get to Crazy Jane, the orchestrator of the supply depot, they find her unconscious, lower face covered in fine white powder. When they inspect the powder, they find that it's not novacoke. It's flour. The team bags Jane, checks the supply room and find a ritual in progress, then peace out as fast as possible.
Aftermath
Crimes gladly takes Jane as a live captive for interrogation and pays the team accordingly. Later on, Voltage gives information of the ritual to Babylon who feels uncomfortable about the idea of Halloweeners trying to do a Calling ritual to summon Pump King Jack again.

Player After Action Reports (AARs)
Cold Hands
"After a number of cloak-and-dagger jobs, being involved in an open turf war was almost refreshing. I still do not know the nature of Asahiro's involvement in what seems to be a petty dispute between two Barrens gangs, but if there's anything I've learned about living in Seattle, it's that some uncomfortably important players seem to take a keen interest in the Sprawl."
"I try not to dwell on it; such things are well beyond my pay grade. Tonight, I was paid to side with the Cutters against the Halloweeners. I'm hardly a fan of either gang, but if I had to choose, I suppose I would choose the Cutters. Maniac pyros offer very little to redeem themselves."
"One mystery that still niggles me is how Crazy Jane went from a corp child with a silver spoon in her mouth to a raving druggie of a 'weener boss. Zero said something about a 'toxic' signature on her, but my magical knowledge is sorely lacking. That's one weakness I'll have to work on."
Voltage
Huh, so Ether actually trusts me enough to send me to do stuff on the sly. This whole 5-D chess kinda scheme she's got goin' here seems like it's a pretty big deal, and I sure as frag ain't gonna be the person who's gonna mess it up for her so I figured I should go in as discreet as possible--which, turns out, I actually ain't half bad at doing when I put my mind to it. I'm really excited to see how her plan develops, and eventually gettin' to lead the charge against the Cutters when we go to take their cleaned-up Sophocles for ourselves! Maybe I'll even get a promotion out of it.
For now, though, killing 'Weeners is pretty ghostdamned fun, and I'm really excited about the flamethrower I got out of the deal. Zero kicked ass and her astral recon was pretty clutch, and gettin' to meet Cold Hands was pretty awesome! I hope I get to see more of her in the future, she's a force to be reckoned with.
Babs seems pretty worried about that spirit thing they were tryin' to call, though. She told me a little about that pumpkin guy a while back and he seemed like a big problem; if he's still around, and they didn't actually kill him like she said they did, then that definitely ain't good. I'll do whatever I can to help her get to the bottom of all this, though.
