Overview
The fearsome shadow spirit known as Pump King Jack was inevitably driven into a corner and destroyed, but he did not depart without leaving behind a legacy. A minuscule seed of humanity bloomed from his exposure to so much of the Metaplane of Man that gradually fed on his interactions with metahumanity. While he never truly changed, the influences of the sleeping metastasizing spirit within him changed him for the better. In the end, he chose to discard it and gave birth to the Jack some few know today.
This new entity swore to never enter the physical realm of mortals again for those that saved him from destruction, but that doesn't mean he can't occasionally carry some influence! By carving a jack-o-lantern into a spooky smile, lighting a wax candle inside of it and singing Jack's favorite song aloud with thoughts of him on the caller's mind, Jack can manifest partially by causing a temporary astral shallow. It is with this little calling ritual that he intends to spice up some people's Halloween holidays in the future -- if he can't visit in person, he'll at least give them a good show!
