The Cretaceous Clash
The Crichton Private Science division has the ambitious goal of bringing dinosaur's back to the earth and coming to a full understanding of SURGE in the process. They desire a melding of the past, of history and technology, of meat and flesh. OR maybe they just want to create time-raptors. Either way, through various experiments of extremely questionable ethics, they created the first batch of time raptors (SURGEd alligators with heavy amounts of ware modifications). When those escaped and needed to be rounded up, they took the one remaining time-raptor and boosted its neurological functions, granting it sentience.
The last time-raptor, now sapient and cunning, has escaped. Dubbing himself, Dr. Velo Clementine Raptor, he has vowed to take revenge on the Crichtons and all others who share their ways. His army of sapient critters will not be stopped.
