Background
Sam Thornton had been a SINless Otaku back in late '50s, but had Faded out rather early. By 16-ish, he stepped into a UCAS recruiting station and enlisted. During his first tour, he was extensively injured in the line of duty, needing extensive medical attention to survive, at best as a quadruple amputee. Fortunately, there was an UCAS experimental volunteer program contracted from ARES, with UCAS oversight, recruiting from the UCAS injured veterans involving full limb replacement. Sam then served honorably for 2 additional tours without any particular issue. After his third tour while living as a civilian, Sam then Emerged as a Technomancer.
