Background
Born in 2048 inside LA's El Inferno ghetto to SINless refugee parents from Amazonia. Underwent SURGE and turned into a mermaid when the comet arrived, and her parents died in chaos following the quakes and the subsequent riots. She heard the call of Deus when she was 12, ending up a member of Ex Pacis and a node in the Network. Lived on her own in flood-ravaged LA until Horizon found her in during their efforts to rebuild the city; fading hard after Crash 2.0 cut her off from her tribe, she embraced the corporation as a substitute family and started developing a BTL habit in order to cope with the loss.
Was marketed by Horizon as a matrix idol and simsense star, even being given a SIN to keep her in line when they got AAA status. In 2068 she re-emerged, trying her best to hide it and spiralling further into BTL abuse, causing her to have difficulty controlling her emotions; in the immediate aftermath of the Vegas Technomancer Massacre she trashed the corp publicly in a fit of outrage before faking her death and going underground. She attempted to burn her SIN, and subsequently fell into a years long spiral of simsense addiction-fuelled cybercrime, but her data trails were eventually traced by the Dawkins Group.
After being reconnected with her old talent agent/new fixer, she was put to work as a semi-willing shadow asset for the megacorp. In the years since she has managed to build up something of a reputation for herself as a freelance hacker while maintaining a cover identity as a transhumanist decker to market her simsense work and fund her chip habit. Now that she has a hookup with a freelance network in the Haven to get her reliable running work, she is attempting to distance herself from her fixers/corporate handlers and become more of an solo artist, with the goal of making a decent life for herself outside of Horizon.

Appearance
A literal mermaid - very clearly a severe case of SURGE, or else the product of extensive bio-modding beyond the ability of most clinics. Has "naturally" blue hair and aqua-coloured scales, as well as skin that glows blue-green in the dark.
Clothing
Has a tailor to custom-fit all her clothing to accommodate her unique physiology, but typically doesn't bother to wear much aside from an insulated water-proof armour jacket and a necklace of seashells unless the situation demands otherwise.
