Character Information
Summary
An opportunistic blade adept, decent with automatic weaponry, and pretty strong swimmer. Has a grapple hand and a bulky partial cyberleg crammed with fun stuff you can't replicate with Awakened mojo. He's here to get rich/live fast/have fun.
Goals
► Get filthy stinking rich.
► Go with the flow, the flow being mostly dictated by his mentor spirit, the Sea (who can shut off his foci).
► Acquire a boat so people will stop taunting him about not having one.
► Following that last goal: Cease being so damn sprawl-bound. Seattle's been good, but Scurvy does not appreciate being so restricted. He'll need contacts.
► Be a loyal member of Doris's motley "crew", such as it is. (The Sea says to do so or else!)
► Find the Crystal Coconut.
Background
Born in Miami (probably), this ork left home pretty quick to be a smuggler down the Caribbean way. Shortly after, he Awakened and turned full-on pirate, leaning on his adept powers to stay one step ahead. The crew swung around the League, moving in and out of the CAS while getting shot at and generally having a good time. The Sea took an iterest in him after he almost drowned and was marooned on a deserted sandspit. He was part of a fairly established crew, but not one of particular fame/notoriety.
He lost an arm and then leg at some point on the job, possibly to a crocodile; his stories are never consistent. As a result he had to get them replaced with cheap cyberware. He's gotten over the essense loss, and is no longer particularly peturbed or melancholy about the dimishment of his adept abilities. In fact, he rather enjoys what his augmentations enable, and his limb replacements have allowed him to take other fun biotech augmentations. However, he does have some lingering fear of big scaly lizards.
At some point something happened, and he shipped up to Seattle with nothing but the clothes on his back and the location of the Daze. With Alessa P's help, he managed to get used to this Johnson thing and avoid being too flashy. His reasons for leaving the pirate life are unclear, but one thing's for sure: His time as a Haven runner has been good to him. Since rolling up to the Emerald Sprawl, Scurvy's traded-in his old dead man's leg and unlocked more magical ability.

Appearance
Not particularly big for an ork, but pretty lean/mean. Scurvy has a scarred face in the not-attractive way, and a many-times broken nose. He's got a simple ring earring , dark-circled eyes, and a pretty short black beard, somewhat broken up by the scars. Pretty bad teeth, but some of them look valuably metallic. 'Ware-wise his left arm is mostly an obvious grapple hand, and his right leg is bulk-modded cyber beneath the knee.
Clothing
Colourful, scuffed. Usual everyday business attire is a beaten-up camo Globetrotter jacket covered in earth tone gel packs, topped with an electrochromic scale-patterned cloak. Baggy cargo pants conceal his bulky partial cyberleg. Has been known to wear a synthleather tricorn. (Yeah, the current art really does not represent this) Rocks a gold-coloured skull-like ballistic mask. He does occasionally switch it up with an Ace of Swords.
Matrix Persona
Generic suited male persona, but with a yellow rubber duck head. The duck has an eyepatch and feathered tricorn pirate hat.
