GM Style Sheet
Hi there! I'm Maly, arightful king of Scotland, nd this here's a style sheet thingyjigger!
RUNS: So, I kinda run things a bit like... Well, Borderlands, in which there's a general idea of a starting point, and an ending point, but how you get there is up to you. If you're applying with a character that has a high chance of declining at the meet, please let me know in the run post, if only so I can prep to have a backup to fill the spot if you do drop.
Thwarting the jobs, well... You know what, if you can get the team in on it, I'll do my best to make it work. After all, this is a futuristic Cyberpunk dystopia where megacorps compete against each other for data, money and ideas. If one group wants something, chances are you can find others interested in it. My views on realism tend to change depending on the subject matter at hand. Nitty gritty run through the worst that the Barrens has to offer? Probably pretty realistic about what you'll be facing. A private host, or astral realm? Who knows what you'll come up with?
CONSEQUENCES AND FAILURE: It is not my goal to kill PCs, or have the missions guaranteed to fail. I want to tell a story, and you're all the characters. However, every story has it's deep, dark spots where the hero/antihero/protagonist(s) don't look like they're going to make it through. It happens, especially when the dice decide to be mean. However, no matter how dark it gets, I will always try to find a way for it to be possible for the PCs to pull through, even if I have to pull something from way out in left field. Magic is a thing, Wizards doing it is always a legit excuse, and as long as it's even the tiniest bit plausible, it's a thing that can happen.
