Summary
Even without the wheelchair, Relay stands out. Usually dressed in mechanic's garb with goggles on his forehead, Relay looks more likely to fix your car than be the runner you're supposed to meet up with. A rigger who envisions himself as the team dad, Relay's goal is to help you be the all star you were meant to be. Whether it's with audio / visual support, suppressing fire, a get-away vehicle, or a little extra defensive help, Relay's skill set embodies the support player designed to enable the team to be at their best.
Goals
Bored of rolling around the house, Relay wants to build a personal vehicle and drone warehouse to tinker in. Through the use of VR and sensors, there are few places that Relay can't or won't go. On the job, Relay's number one goal will be team safety even before mission success.
Background
Silas was a mechanic long before he was a runner named Relay.
Silas earned an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. He worked as a civil engineer for the city of Atlanta and as a heavy automotive mechanic for a body shop in downtown Atlanta. Over the weekend, Silas was called into his body shop to overhaul an engine on a city swat truck. The truck's driver, crashing off Long Haul, managed to pin him against the wall of his body shop and left him unable to walk.
Out of a career, but with a little pittance in his pocket for his untimely end of service for the city, Silas moved to Seattle and started building a web of contacts as Relay, the runner. Relay takes odd jobs, mostly as a driver or drone pilot, to add a little life back into living.

- Distinctive Style / Infirm / Paraplegic A shadow runner in a wheelchair is--well--noticeable. As a person who is differently abled, Relay has lower physical attributes and is more noticeable. Those who don't prejudge him find him to be up to the job.

I helped the Brotherhood of Iron recover its kidnapped members from a gang of ghouls. Apparently that earns some respect within the organization. Maybe it'll be helpful down the road...we'll see.

Ever get dressed up for a fancy party then have to wait in the car? Farsight and Sc4rl3tt may have gotten to enjoy the party, but I kept eyes on the place and now have six thousand dollars worth of armored dress clothes in the closet, so I guess that's--uh--good. As another fun quirk, it seems like the Welshman was actually a friggin dragon. I'm not sure how much string pulling we can do for a dragon, but for better or worse he knows who I am, and he knows I did the job.

Iceland is a capable infiltrator who can contribute in a firefight. Iceland and Relay have run a couple of jobs together and know each other through a common contact.
Moth
Moth is the face. She knows everyone and can get information out of the toughest Yakuza thug. She's not as handy in a firefight, but if she was, why would anyone else even be needed?

After breaking up a human trafficking operation, I am no fan of the Yakuza. Running drugs and guns are one thing...I mean, I need someone to do that, frankly. Selling people is something entirely different.
Humanis
Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. It's some bullshit that corps think of people as profit batteries, but that's nothing compared to Humanis. I don't work for them or with them.
