Style
Pick Policy
Priority will be given to, in rough descending order:
- PCs that are mechanically and thematically diverse and that I believe offer a good chance of success as a team.
- Players that respond in full to the run post
- Players that haven't had a run for a while and newer players
- Amusing / otherwise good responses to the run post / IC prompt or PCs that thematically fit the run
Declining the Meet
- For the sake of time and convenience, I would vastly prefer characters that would not decline the meet.
- Working against the interests of the Johnson, however, is okay provided it is agreed OOC
Realism
- I will generally try to go for realism and internal consistency, but I will make concessions to rule of cool or the smoothness of the run.
- I will attempt to have characters and organisations respond in ways that make sense, e.g. guards will surrender if taking heavy casualties unless they're fanatics.
- Opfor will react to the PC's actions and attempt to take out larger threats, partially as an OOC balancing mechanism against more powerful characters.
Tone and Things
- I will generally run more combat focused runs, usually with some comedy elements, but I am attempting to branch out and will state variations in the job post.
- Actions will still have consequences though, though I will do my best to avoid impossible situations. The consequences will usually have a element of what would be funny, however.
Edge
I will give out Edge regains for the following:
- Attempts to execute cunnin' plans (success optional)
- Doing something risky but awesome
- Good RP
- Doing what your character would do when it's a terrible idea
- 'Taking one for the team' and similar.
Runs
