Summary

Anita was born in St. Petersburg, Russia and emigrated to the UCAS with her parents when she was very young. She found her love of cooking from her parents, and her most prized possession is her parents' old cookbook that is constantly being updated and modifed, in addition to containing pictures of her and her parents throughout her younger years. Shadowrunning is a means to an end... but that end has started to change for her. As of right now, her motivation is protecting those she loves and trying to make her small slice of the world better in whatever way she can.

Short Term Goals

  • Upgrade the Strength in both arms by two more degree's, and upgrade the Radar and Ultrasound Sensor in her left arm to max rating Complete
  • Upgrade her Arms to standard grade Complete
  • Upgrade the Strength in her legs by two more degree's, and acquire R6 Hydraulic Jacks and Skimmers for them Complete
  • Upgrade all Standard grade 'ware to Alpha grade Complete
  • Get Double Elastin, Platelet Factories, Sleep Regulator, a Pain Editor, and upgrade her Bone Lacing to Titanium Complete
  • Learn a few Martial Arts to refine her close combat ability, especially against Spirits and while wielding two weapons
  • Upgrade her Voice Modulator, Olfactory Booster, Taste Boosters to R6
  • Expand her skillset to cover basic Rigging, Decking, and a few other physical and technical skills she currently lacks in

  • Runs to help or support Babylon, Shy, Kate, Zenith, Catharsis, Mara, Delphi, and Gigabite will be accepted without question, regardless of the run parameters. Many other runners can also reliably gain her support, though 6 will be more selective with them.
  • 2 Chips on Father Uriel, 1 Chip on Emelie, and 1 Chip on Tessen need to be repaid at some point...

Background

Anita Semenova was born in Russia to poor working-class parents. growing up with her mother and fathers love of food and cooking, Anita decided that she would become a world class chef, and nothing would stop her. Only problem was, Anita grew up sickly, mainly because her parents couldn't afford gene treatments, and frankly, proper nourishment, most of the time. So, when she was old enough, she set out to earn as much money as she could to upgrade her body. If she couldn't naturally have the grace, speed, and strength necessary, she would simply buy it. After years of hard work, she was able to fully replace her limbs with cyberware, granting her the physical prowess to begin chasing her goals. Granted, being a chef doesn't always require feats of great strength, but if she had the ability to be faster AND stronger? well, she was gonna take it.

Realizing the power the cyberware gave her, she wanted to get upgrades to make her even better, so she took to completing more... unsavory... jobs and began working for whoever would pay as a gun for hire. Realizing that her cyber upgrades were a valuable asset in the shadows, Anita took jobs that allowed her to utilize the ability that she had bought and honed her skills into a fearsome weapon. She took the shadow name 'Six_of_Hearts' after she won an 85,000 nuyen pot in a poker game with nothing but a 6 of hearts high card, which allowed her to finally ugrade her cyber limbs to alpha grade cyberware, seeing it as a lucky sign that allowed her to fully transition to a career in the shadows.

Either fortunately or unfortunately, this path landed her with the Ancients as a recruit. She rode with them for several years, learning the ins and outs of the Ancients life. Just before she was to be promoted and earn her full patch, her parents died rather unceremoniously while being cared for in a hospital in New York. Given leave by her superiors to attend to their funeral and mourn, Anita departed the Seattle Ancients chapter. Though she knew she had a home of sorts to return to, as well as someone who she loved very deeply, she stayed away from Seattle for a length of time, and ultimately never returned to the Ancients... a choice she questions to this day.

Anita is fond of alcohol, guns, cooking, cars, learning new things (primarily languages), and the finer things in life. She is, however, obsessed with getting the best cyberware that money can buy, gunning for the cash and chance to buy delta grade cyberware. she loves the feel of the cold metal as well as the beauty of a finely crafted and honed machines that are her cyberware. The fusion of woman and machine is a feeling that she enjoys, not to mention the slight unnerving effect it has on many people. She likes being in control, and having her cyberware lets her feel like she is in control.

Anita takes care of her 'ware, covering them in expensive casemods giving her a unique look. Matte white limbs, silver colored tracery designs shaped like stylized ballerinas, and a large red stylized heart on each shoulder and hip... kinda hard to forget, but they show others just how much she values what she's purchased, and just how much she cares for what gives her the ability to be what she is.

Before she joined the Haven, Anita didn't have much help as a fledgling Shadowrunner, so she aims to use any resources she acquires to open her restaurant and set it up to be a haven for Shadowrunners, and utilize any contacts she has made to assist runners in need. In addition, thanks to a recent job working with Gigabite (see the "Who Can Say No To This Face" run series from the When the hunters came to town metaplot), Anita has started forming plans for a new project, based on a similar principle and stylings of MERC.

As a note, a second flame from her past has shown up... it's starting to get weird. What's the saying? One's an accident, two's a coincidence, and three's a pattern? It's probably fine... we haven't hit three yet.

Anita's signature is a slightly modified Six of Hearts playing card. The card is modified so that the six hearts that make up the central design each have a single bleeding bullet hole in them.

Appearance

Clothing

  • Anita typically wears simple or plain long sleeved shirts, simple leggings or jeans, a black leather armored jacket, a black beanie, and a pair of thin leather gloves. Her glasses are of a wrap-around design and have transition lenses so she can utilize them both indoors and outdoors, with the lightest color being a very light blue for inside, and the darkest being full black for outside. Anita will wear sneakers or short boots, and a simple black leather belt. She does have nicer non-armored clothing, but Anita prefers simplicity to avoid being too noticeable.
  • Anita does possess several differently styled Armante dresses she wears for special occasions. With these, she'll wear a pair of heels, gloves, and a fashionable cape. All items possess electrochromic technology.
  • Her business attire consists of a Mortimer of London Berwick Suit, Argentum Coat, and black heeled boots. Both the suit and coat possess electrochromic technology.
  • If the clothing permits, Anita wears her Form Fitting Body Armor and Zoé Second Skin suit for protection against possible ambush.

Tattoos and Inscriptions

  • Head:
    • The left side of her head is completely shaved with a curling floral tattoo of emerald green vines covering the area, complete with six small black roses with a crimson red heart at the center of each.
  • Neck:
    • On the back of her neck just beneath her hairline is a stylized crimson red heart with six bleeding bullet holes. From behind each ear leading to the heart are three black roses on each side.
    • Around the base of the front of her neck, across her collarbone written in Latin, is the phrase "Aliquando sancti nostri peccatores sunt" translated as "Sometimes our Saints are Sinners" written in black.
  • Chest:
    • Across the top of her chest underneath her collarbone is a phrase written in black, "Fortes Fortuna Adiuvat", Latin for "Fortune Favors the Brave".
    • Underneath her left breast is an intricate emerald green and deep pink Buddhist Lotus tattoo about five inches wide and three inches tall.
    • Underneath her right breast is an intricate electric violet and crimson red Hamsa Hand tattoo approximately six inches tall and four inches wide.
  • Back:
    • Between her shoulder blades is a pair of War Fans. Each is black with a stylized crimson red heart at the center, and the hinge of each is situated behind a large Japanese Andromeda flower with cherry red to shamrock green foliage and neon pink flowers. From behind each fan is an additional Japanese Andromeda with the same coloration as the central flower.
    • Behind the words on her chest and going from over the top of her shoulders to the top of her butt are three pairs of Angel wings, layered overtop of one another, with the central pair wrapping around her hips. The three left wings range from black to slate grey in color and are designed to look unkempt and damaged, whereas the right three are pure white and gold in color and designed to look perfect and undamaged. At the center of the wings is the image of a wooden circle shield with a large Celtic knot covering the shield, which flows between azure blue and acid green in coloration. Behind the shield is a silver spear crossed with a black battle axe on diagonal angles, a black and graphite grey assault rifle sitting horizontally, and a vertical longsword with a blood red blade pointing down. The shield boss at the center of the shield has an acid green Ancients "A" symbol in the center, and is surrounded by six crimson red hearts.
    • Around the edge of the shield in black Old English style writing is the Holy Sonnet "Death Be Not Proud" by John Donne.
  • Right Arm:
    • Inscribed in azure blue on the inside of her right forearm in English is the poem "Do Not Go Gentle Into that Good Night" by Dylan Thomas.
    • Inscribed in crimosn red on her right bicep is the poem "When the Wicked Stand Confounded" by Solomon Redbeard.
  • Left Arm:
    • On the inside of her left wrist is a singular link of chain engraved into the cold metal of her cyberlimb... a gift from Crescent-Slash in recognition of her defiance of fear and penchant for endurance against overwhelming odds. Black color with a very light neon pink glow.
    • Inscribed in azure blue on the inside of her left forearm in English is the poem "Invictus" by William Ernest Henley.
    • Inscribed in gold on her left bicep is Deuteronomy 32:40-43.
  • Hands
    • Across the middle set of knuckles, are the words "Stay Calm" engraved in crimson red.
    • Across the top set of knuckles, is the word "Fearless" engraved in azure blue.

    • Vyomanga: The Divine Gateway Chakra symbol is a three inch engraving on the palm of Anita's right hand, so that when she raises her right hand directly above her left, the Divine Gateway Chakra takes its rightful place as the gateway to the cosmos and as a bridge between all chakras, spiritual essence, and the universe. Coloration is a swirl of all other Chakra colors.
    • Vyapini: The Soul Star Chakra symbol is a three inch engraving on the palm of Anita's left hand, so that when she raises her hand directly above her head, the Soul Star Chakra takes its place as the ultimate awareness of the soul. Pure white coloration.
    • Sahasrara: The Crown Chakra symbol is a three inch wide tattoo on the top of Anita's head underneath her fiber optic hair. Electric violet coloration.
