Summary
KE Currently holds the security contract for the Seattle Metroplex. This means that Seattle officially contracts out all police services to Knight Errant, although Seattle still grants the contract to maintain the jails to their main competition, Lone Star.
Knight Errant is known to engage in very proportional responses. They follow a doctrine that holds that it creates a bad image and a danger to the public when they pull out unnecessarily large forces to combat threats. To a runner, this means that if a runner teams maintains non-lethal methods when fighting them, Knight Errant is also more likely to return fire with non-lethal rounds. This works out somewhat favorably for Knight Errant as a whole, as the criminal underworld may become more prone to use non-lethal tactics against the police with the understanding that they will return the favor.

ShadowGrid Comments
Never forget they're just another arm of Ares. If they find you with an illegal weapon, they're going to want to take you in and fine you if you've done nothing else. But if that illegal weapon was Ares made, they'll let you keep it after you pay the fine because once you're on their extraterritorial property, it's legal. But if it's made by anyone else, they'll direct you to exit through their gift shop where you can buy a good reliable Ares weapon to replace the one they hold as evidence. - Howler (Talk) |
